Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman

 


 
Bir Shreshtha Matiur Rahman (October 29, 1941 - 20 August 1971) is a Bangladeshi freedom fighter. He was killed in the liberation war of Bangladesh. Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman is one of the seven heroes who were awarded the Birshreshtha title for the highest honor and bravery of the great war of liberation in Bangladesh.
Motiur Rahman was born on 29 October 1941 in the maternal house of "Mubarak Laus", the ancestral house of 109 Aga Sadek Road in old Dhaka. His original home was in Muchapur Union of Raipur in Narsingdi district. 9 Motiur 6th among brothers and sisters. His father Maulvi Abdus Samad, mother Syeda Mobarakunnesa Khatun After passing the sixth grade from Dhaka Collegiate School, Pakistan Air Force joined Sarjoda in the public school. Successfully passed the Matriculation Examination with the first division. In 1961 joined the air force. In June 1963, Risalpur received commission from P.A., F. College and was appointed as General Duty Pilot.
On August 20th, he was hiding a militant plane from a student Rashid Minhaj in Mauripur airbase in Karachi. But Rashid told the incident at the control tower, the other four fighter jumped Motiur's plane. At this time, Motiur's collision with Rashid continued, and at one stage, Rashid Eject switched off, Motiur escaped from the plane, and the plane with Rashid was crashed in the Thatta area just 35 miles away from Indian border due to the low flying altitude. He was killed without a parachute with Motiur.
On June 23, 2006, the remains of Matiur Rahman were brought back from Pakistan to Bangladesh. He was buried again on 25th June martyred intellectual graveyard in full dignity.

Shamsur Rahman (born October 23, 1929, Mahattuli, Dhaka - Death: August 17, 2006) One of the leading poets of Bangladesh and modern Bangla literature. In the second half of the twentieth century, he established his superiority and popularity in Bengal. He was a citizen poet. His poems written on the liberation struggle of Bangladesh are very popular.

Born in many races. Baba Muklesur Rahman Chowdhury and mother Amena Begum. Father's house in village Partatoli in Raipura of Narsingdi district. Poets brother sister 13 people Poet 4th Matriculation from Pogoj School of Old Dhaka in 1945. In 1947, he passed the IA from Dhaka Intermediate College. He was admitted to Dhaka University in English and had regular classes for three years. Finally did not test the original. Passing BA in Passcours, he secured second place in second division in English Literature MA (Preliminary) examination, but did not participate in the last episode examination.
Poet Shamsur Rahman left his last breath in the 17th of August, 2006, at 6 pm, at 35 pm on Thursday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. According to his wish, he was buried in the graveyard of Dhaka, his mother's grave.
