1 Home of poet Shamsur Rahman

Paratali union surrounded by Meghna river in Raipura upazila.

From the Baricha bus stand on the Dhaha-Sylhet highway or from the Methikanda railway station with the addition of CNG. The ancestral home of the poet with the addition of trawlers from the inn.

It is located in the Meghna river basin on the south side of Raipura upazila.
